There is black rhodium plating around the diamond on this product unless otherwise requested. Black rhodium plating is applied by hand and varies in tone from piece to piece. Black rhodium will likely fade over time to its own unique/antique look and can be re-plated. Please write a comment in the "Special Instructions" field at checkout if you wish to have it NOT plated. As in-stock rings are already black rhodium plated, which cannot be removed, non-plated rings will need to be made exclusively for you and as a result will be final sale.
