Job Title: E-Commerce and Social Media Assistant (PT)
Department: Sales
Reports to: Operations Manager
Wage: $24-28/hr
SUMMARY
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and assists the Sales team with E-Commerce and Social Media tasks at SKJ. This person must have an advanced understanding of various sales channels and platforms including but not limited to: Shopify, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, Photoshop, Mailchimp and Klaviyo. This person will have the ability to quickly grasp our brand voice and products, work independently and have sound judgment when it comes to sensitive decisions and information.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Shopify store management, content creation and posting, creating and sending newsletters, creating and analyzing DTC sales reports, other EC projects as needed.
This is a hybrid position, starting out at 3 days a week in the office, eventually moving to 1 day a week in the office.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly proficient in Google Suite, HubSpot CRM, Adobe, Shopify, Asana, advanced computer skills
- Strong proficiency with social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest
- Proficient in handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of SKJ brand and products
- Experience with writing captions and blurbs for social media and product listings
- Attention to detail essential
- Reliable at meeting deadlines
- Exemplary self-management skills
- Excellent communications skills in English
- Punctuality
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Experience in a fine jewelry related environment is strongly preferred
JOB RELATED DUTIES:
Shopify:
- Create products and new collections in Shopify, monitor website and update as needed
- Update Homepage, News, Stockists, FAQ pages as needed
- Prep product listings/pages for sale events
- Write product descriptions for new products
- Monitor the website for app updates, bugs, mistakes and troubleshoot
- Create monthly and quarterly sales reports
Newsletters:
- Create and schedule newsletters to both direct and wholesale customers according to market calendar
- Create and organize newsletter related tasks in Asana
- Create monthly reports and analyze results
Social Media:
- Create video and photo content for Instagram: post at least 1 Story per day
- Schedule feed posts for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
- Research and analyze competitors and industry trends to identify best practices and innovative strategies for continuous improvement
- Implement content curation strategies to enhance user-generated content and collaborations
- Monitor metrics and submit monthly reports
- Assist with replying to follower comments and DMs
- Assist with communication with our ad agency for launches and sales events
- Keep Dropbox Image folders organized
