SUMMARY
Nestled quietly above the bustle of Tribeca in lower Manhattan, SKJ’s New York City showroom operates by appointment only, offering a warm, intimate space where clients can explore our full collection and connect deeply with our brand’s point of view. Facing our in-house studio—where a small, highly skilled team of artisans handcrafts our jewelry—each consultation is hosted as a private, one-on-one experience rooted in thoughtful guidance, trust, and genuine connection. We take great pride in going beyond sales to celebrate the joy and meaning our jewelry brings to everyday life.
Demand for our showroom consultations continues to grow year after year, so we’ve created this role to expand showroom availability during high-opportunity days and hours, allowing SKJ to increase appointment coverage and thoughtfully test growth potential through increased client access. Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, this position is focused on driving sales and delivering an exceptional, relationship-driven client experience. The Luxury Sales Associate/Wedding Specialist serves as a key point of connection between our clients and our collections, combining deep product knowledge, clear communication, and attentive service to support showroom and sales operations. This role supports revenue growth and client satisfaction through consistent, high-quality consultations within established systems and guidelines.
This role is an hourly 1099 contractor role designed to allow for schedule flexibility on both sides, supporting expanded showroom coverage as the business grows. It is best suited for a mature, calm, and experienced sales professional who thrives in one-on-one environments, has extensive experience with engagement and wedding clients, and is comfortable selling high-ticket, investment-quality pieces.
